Croatian Presidential Elections 2014

Croatia goes to the polls today to elect a President. There are four candidates:

Ivo Josipović – incumbent, nominated by the Social Democrat Party – the main party of the current government)

Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović – candidate of the main opposition party the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ). 

Milan Kujundžić – candidate of the Alliance for Croatia coalition

Ivan Vilibor Sinčić – activist with Živi zid (Human Blockade)

If there is no outright victor today, there will be a second round with the two top candidates on 11 January.

Preliminary results are expected at 2000 CET today.
